Service Project and Bedding Donation Drive
Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) Bed Building
Youth will work with a pile of raw lumber that becomes ready-to-deliver bunks for kids in need. We'll be building beds for kids in Colorado Springs. We'll be hand crafting beds by cutting, drilling, sanding, building, staining, and branding beds. Wear clothes that can get dusty and be ready to have some fun while doing good.
3% of kids in Colorado Springs are sleeping on the floor, on a yoga mat, on a couch, or with their parents. We are making a difference to give these kids hand built beds of their own so they can get a good nights sleep. We know that they will do better in school and be more confident.
A signed consent waiver is required for participation in the service project. The waiver can be filled out following the button below.
Bedding Donation Drive
With a bed comes the need for bedding. SHP has a wishlist of affordable new twin sized bedding. There are two ways to paeticpate in the bedding drive.

Bedding can be purchased from one of the wishlists below then sent directly to SHP.

New twin sized bedding can be dropped off in the donation bins available during Best of Youth.
